I put my new cab lights on today, and plan on running the wire down that driver's side A pillar and taping into the the parking light side of the light switch.
Does anyone know which wire it is, and or the color etc,. Any words of wisdom, pictures would be great!! They look real snazzy on there, and I will throw some picture up here as soon as I can.
Right around the light switch area, coming out of a big harness, there is a pigtail with one or two brown wires ending in a round female bullet connector. Use a test light to make sure its the right one. This is where the factory cab lights connect to.
I recommend you run an in-line fuse, with a 5 to 10amp fuse, in case there's ever a short in your cab lights, it will protect the wiring and save the rest of your parking lights. Good luck. . .

Mine were tapped at the fuse panel when I got my truck. I figured it was factory. I took them off so it doesn't really matter.
