hazard lights puzzle
on my F250 V10 2004 the hazard works on passenger side front and mirror only. the turn flashers are ok. .Where do I look first, the steering switch or flashing unit. Dismantled the steering switch lost a grasshopper piece but the contacts are ok. wonder the price of that part which includes the wiper selection, turn siggnal and hazard switch..will search the missing part tomorrow am with the sunshine helping. Already found the spring..Iwould appreciate any help or hint.

Usually those are problems in the switch itself. The part is probably over $100. Sometimes you can clean them up, but obviously you will need to find the missing part for it to work at all. Sometimes cycling the switch a few times will clean things up so they work again.
