Hey guys, I have been toying with the idea of the 2005 front end conversion. For those of you that have done it, how difficult was is, and how pricey was it?? Should I go for it??
You need the headlights, headlight pigtails, Grille, Grille Emblem, L&R headlight splash sheilds, reinforcement panel (some say you don't need it, but modding it is a ton of work), bumper, bumper mount plates, bumper outriggers, bumper frame supports, upper bumper trim, and the lower bumper trim. If you have (or want) fogs, those are different too.
The splash shielding in the grille area can be cut & modified to fit well, but be careful around the air temp sensor, it gets a little trickey.
The rest is a direct bolt on and leave plenty of time for fine tweaking to get it aligned perfect.
As for price, You can find a deal sometimes on Ebay otherwise, you're going to pay quite a bit.
