Crown Vic Front end Q's

Has anyone done the 2005 crown victoria front end swap? i know that you have to use the steering rack from the crown vic so how is the power steering system set up? and lastly can this work in my 66 if i have a 460 C6 combo in it? would it be too heavy and strain the power steering system?

Check this thread. I did what you want to do. I haven't driven it yet, but everything seems to work.

CC is driving his with a diesel in it ! I dont believe that there is a problem with the 460 wieght at all . Being a ex-racer I will tell you that rear percentage (wieght) will be determined by the amount of nose wieght (engine wieght ) and where it sets in the chassis .
By the way Im doing a 64 shorty now . (kind of on hold until I finish other people toys ) Im currently doing the body work and have the cab removed .thanks rg
