Good choice for after July 4. I think any of those dates wouild be great. I guess if anyone has a preference we should try to get their suggestion and decide on a specific weekend.

Well...I'm a good Texan and as they say in Tejas..."vote early, vote often." So I post a second vote for July and New Braunfels. Someone second this officially and let's get the date set. We're letting the badger out of the bag with indecision, and I hates chasin' badgers.

I second this motion. With one other thing to think about. The last weekend in July there is also the Hill country Swap Meet in Fredericksburg. Maybe get together in New Braunfels then roadtrip to Fredericksburg. Or maybe just do Frededericksburg instead.

First off, Hey guys, I am in San Antonio and good to see some Texas members, I would visit the forum a while back a lot but with moving and no time at work, I have been off a bit. Anyhow, I kinda read the post and if anyone is interested check this out in Austin.

I own a 53 Ford f100 that I am trying to finish for the show so I am not trying to promote anything here but I thought I would throw something out the that some of you may want to do. Well folks, New Braunfels it is!!
All we need now is a date around July and an itinerary.
I'll start doing some research of the area and find out what I can for events or what not. Any suggestions or comments can be sent to Krosati(No Email Addresses In Posts!) and I will repost here next weekend with anything we have gathered so far.

I did jump in the Brazos about 8 years ago and will never do it again!
However, I have been really busy as of late working 14 plus hours a day at work. I have yet to spend time researching the New Braunsfels are for trails, events, etc.
Please help me out. I want to get something together.

I vote on the weekend of the 21st in July. New Braunfels sounds good. Would be great to have a big parking lot or meeting area of some sorts to park our rides, check out the other guys rides, swap some tall tales and maybe trade/sell some extra parts. Maybe even eat together someplace or something? I've never done anything like this before so my idea's might not hold the best of water. But as long as there are nice Ford's to look at I'll be there.
