sagging seat.

hi all. Im not sure if this is the right spot for this thread, so if its not could an admin move it. my truck is a 94 F150 with the full bench seat. the drivers side is starting to sag. it appears the foam is giving way. we have so foam to re-stuff it, but what is the best way to re-stuff it? If I can, Id like to avoid removing the whole seat from the truck. is it easier to push the foam in from underneath? thanks in advance.

Put a piece of cardboard on top of the springs Brian.
They are cutting into the foam, and it is sticking through the bottom.

A bench seat is only 4 bolts and a T-50 (i think) for the seat belts.
Fold the seat forward and push it out the other side door.

There is no easy way to get the cover off, or pulled back with the seat in place.

actually, thats exactly what I was thinking, the difference was using a piece of wood instead of cardboard.

If you use wood try and get something like 3/32" plywood from the hobby shop so it has a little give to it.
The other thing you might find is that some of the springs have broken loose from the frame.
I tacked them back in place with a MIG welder.

I think you will save yourself a lot of frustration in the long run if you just bite the bullet and remove it, it is not difficult.

I meant the seat cover (the fabric), not the seat and frame itself. I could do that, itd be easier to get to the underside of the seat. plus, itd give me a good chance to clean underneath the seat.
