I Need Help With an FE Engine Block

I have an old FE block and I am trying to figure out what it is. I have been told that it is a 390 but when I ran the casting numbers off the heads it came up as a 427, then I ran another number = 46 DIF, which came up as a 428. I know that the FE blocks all have a 352 casting on the back and front of the block. The casting number on the heads are C8AE-H. I did find on the bottom front drivers side what looks like a stamp that reads PJ2. I also have wha looks like a partial vin number which looks like 0Z511388. The exaust manifolds only have a two bolt pattern one on top and one directly under that one. IF ANY ONE CAN HELP ME FIGURE THIS OUT PLEASE E-MAIL ME @ txcowboy03@yahoo.com.. Thank you

Measure the bore:

4" = 352
4.05 = 360/390/410
4.13 = 406/428
4.23 = 427

Does it have cross-bolted mains? If not, not a 427.

FE block

The C8AE-H heads are 1968 390GT heads, definitely not 427. The exhausts sound like passenger car or truck manifolds due to the vertical bolt pattern and assuming the head casting dates are similar to the block date (1970).
The block is tougher to ID. The 0Z511388 stamped on the drivers side rear of the block is the partial VIN of the vehicle it was originally installed in. In this case the first digit is a 0 indicating 1970 year. The second digit is a Z indicating that the vehicle was built in St. Louis followed by the vehicle VIN sequential number. Given that FE's were only available in Mustangs (428 CJ) and trucks in 1970, your block is most likely a truck engine.
