Just thought ide share. This is a kit i got on ebay. I know what you all are thinking, but i totally rebuilt these, took them apart sealed, re wired and did them the right way.
Not to sound like an ignorant ***, but why did you have to reseal and rewire these? I know the obvious answer is because it sucks, but what specifically? Did condensation get into the housing? And did the wires burst into flames?
Donny...Thank goodness this is a place that there is absolutly ''NO'' dumb questions. If so,I would have my fare share.....I wondered the same thing but it must be cheezy wires and maybe a poor sealing design and the lights themselves are top notch.....He will get back with us I bet.
Those look pretty good. I thought about going with something like that when I needed headlights, but I ended up being able to find a steal of a deal on some 05 head lights.

Nahh not an ignorant *** at all!
The way the lights came i was very disappointed with. i paid about 289 + shipping for these and expected medium quality. it looked like i got them out of a cracker jack box. i was able to strip the wires with my fingers thats how crappy the wires were. i figured if i started from scratch i would not only feel better about them, but know the wiring was a solid job
also i was worried about condensation getting inside the lenses, just to make sure i never had to take the lights off and dry them i sealed everything up real good. just some of that DAP clear calk.
Nice rig man, ur truck is identical to mine except the auto.
I've never liked the projector headlights but damm....that sure looks good on it!
The wiring it came with wasnt up to PSD standards? I was thinking on buying em too now that I seen em on ur truck I might just pull the trigger on em.
Could you elaborate on what you did to the wiring?
Thats what i thought, i was hesitant. but heres a little of what i did.
Took the plastic cap off the headlight itself, the actual lens part. I ran a bead of DAP Clear around the outside of the plastic lens. when i put it back together i left it sit overnight then rubbed the excess off.
for the wiring i just unsoldered the wires from each of the connections, and went and bought some new wire at home depot. just was a little scared with what would happen with the cheap wires on there. after i had it all soldered together i shrink wrapped the wires then reattached them to the female connector of the wire harness.
when all back together i just connected it up, leveled the headlight beams and it was ready to go.
Im sure those new lights project the light excellent in front of the truck, but how is the light on the sides compared to the originals?
Thanks man, that rig looks so much like mine and I already like the look of those lights im gonna go ahead and order a set. Are those LTB supers on there? How are they on the road?

lemme se a pic of yours, mabey i can grab some ideas off of yours !
to tell you the truth i went on ebay and searched for 2000 f250 headlights, found the most expensive ones. i knew i wanted dual halos so i found a pair like that.
i have to do a little adjusting, but i think since my truck sits so high it sines pretty well on the road. i have to do some finetuning, but i think they are definatly way brighter then the stock ones. i noticed a huge difference.
and they are super swamper tsl's for sale at the moment mounted on stock rims
Phil, those lights look great!! I have been toying with the idea of grabbing a pair off fleabay for my 2000 F350 with the stock lights... What would be the chances of getting some more pics of them?? I am interested in seeing them with just the Halo's on and a day shot...
