Upgrades be noticable?

My '79 f-250 4x4 has a 351m backed with the 435 tranny. It feels like a dog. Granted it does have a 6 inch lift and 36's and only 4.10's. The 351m has the crappy 2 barrel setup on it. I already aquired a 4 barrel intake for it but got to thinking... Will the new intake, carb, headers, and possibly new timing setup make a noticable difference? I plan to step up in tires someday but who knows when that will be. Or is a 460 swap the way to go? I didn't realize that the 460 would bolt up to the 435 bellhousing so now I am considering it more. Although I think I'd rather have a c6 in there. What changes would be made if I went c6? If I could find a 460 and just swap motor mounts and a flywheel I think??? Seems like maybe I should go that way. Any opinions?

Thanks,

Kyle

Yep. Even better yet take out the crappy stock cam and replace it also. Then the beast should awaken.
