Oil Cap
does anybody know where to get a replacement cap? mines starting to get little holes in it

A couple guys a while back got some nice 7.3 decorated caps, Huck comes to mind, waiting for the next batch to hit E-bay, here's what mine looks like..

Don't set it on the battery when adding oil.
The acid eats holes in the plastic cap.

yea its just starting to get a few pin holes around the middle and no i dont lay it in on the battery but the owner before me well who knows

Sounds reasonable, but why does it end up looking like claw marks? At least that's how mine looked.
If only that battery wasn't so large, flat, and convenient of a spot to lay the cap.

Sounds logical Dan, I thought it was from the heat or cycles of temps. I sure been guilty of the battery therory.

You can get a standard screw in cap from autozoo if you dont want the bling one, or the stock one. I got the one from auto zone for like $3 when I made my second ccv vent.
