Edelbrock 2106 - Edelbrock Performer-Plus Cam and Lifter Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com
I am going to put a new cam and lifters in my truck. It has a basically stock 390 in it except for headers and an edelbrock performer rpm intake and 600 holley.

I have ran the performer-plus Cam. No complaints, but it is just a glorified stock cam. That is not a bad thing. The CC XE262H cam kit suggested on this site performed a little better..FOR ME.. than the performer in the midrange without loosing the low end torque. By that I mean, a 76 F250 4x4 can fry 33's and still pull a 25' fiberlgass boat\trailer @ 65mph without a problem with 373 gears. I get the sucky 10-12 MPG. Of course, I was thinking of pulling a factory vacuum device to get more power and mpg...JUST KIDDING...Please read humer here mod\folks.

So, what cam did you decide to go with? The performer?

I know this thread is really old but maybe somebody can help me out. Is it a problem to run and performer 7105 rpm manifold and a performer 2106 cam?
