I just replaced the solenoid and it ran fine because i took this truck to an orv park and the battery popped off its rackk and broke it...it also fell on the generator fan wich grided a hole in the battery. i replaced the battery and now this is happening...someone suggested it being the ignition modual?

What im asking is, when you turn the key on a normal car you will hear the starter engage, when you connect the battery to your truck it sounds as if someones turning the key? Does it start? or just crank?

When i connect the battery , yes it will crank, but not start...it only completely starts when i turn the key, otherwise it'll just sit there and crank untill the battery dies...
