No, that's not it. I didn't get longer screws with the FRX and I'M not sure if I can get any locally on Sunday.

They should be in a small plastic bag with the business cards.

I'm curious as well how many bolts you had to tighten. Since I put injectors in, I'm thinking I'll pull the VCs and check the torque again after a thousand or two miles...

IT'S ALIVE..........started right up, and away we go. No leaks yet. Clay got me squared away on the FRX and everything seems to be a go.

Izzy351... all the injector hold down bolts needed tightening. Everything else was good. Stock injectors, 358,465 Kilometers.
I discovered that I have a starter bolt broken while I was under there, so that must be the next project.

Thanks Patrick. That's what we've been seeing all around. I think it might be a good idea to pull the VCs once a year and torque injector bolts...

Right now I've got "alternator chest", I don't even want to think about it.
I blew a lower cold side boot on the test run, and so far that's all the problems I've encountered (crossing fingers).Bilsteins are in the mail, so that's next Friday.
Try to get done before the snow flies.
I think liberal amounts of VO is in order for the rest of today.

Thanks...Of course I had everything out of the way...that helps a lot I'm sure. The passenger side was a bear to start the new fitting but, I got it.

I could not have done all this if it wasn't for FTE and you guys and gals. I had pretty much given up on fixing my own stuff due to too much electrical voodoo under the hood. I'm really beginning to enjoy it again thanks to you folks.

Well this morning I put about two hours drive on my truck and I can see no problems.
I like the whistle, better spool up and throttle response, seems to be quieter and smoother.
Thanks to all for the help and info I received.

Now a question...When I started it this morning, (not very cold) the EBPV acted like it was coming on and off, sort of like a surge. When I touched the throttle it went away.
Is that because of the temp, or did I do something wrong when I reinstalled the turbo?
