Does anyone know of a place in the panhandle where I can get some parts chromed? Like in Amarrillo or something?

I'll ask my best friend's husband and get back to you on that one. He's from Amarillo.

I couldn't get a hold of them last night. Evidently they didn't want to be found which is cool for newlyweds expecting a baby. They usually come up to my town every Fri and Sat so maybe they'll show up or at least answer the phone tonight... I'll get back to you with what I can find out.

I'm pretty sure there is a chrome shop in Lubbock and I know there is one in Oklahoma City. I'll try and find out more details for you tomorrow. Look in the yellow pages.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 15-Dec-02 AT 08:26 PM (EST)]There's one in San Antone, and it ain't cheap!! I've located a shop in Laredo that sends their stuff over to Mexico... I've seen the results, pretty decent looking, and the price is excellent.

There is a good chrome shop in the Houston area. They come to all the swap meets in the DFW area.

They came highly recommended to me by several street rodder friends. They repaired my '56 grill and chromed it, all for $300. BTW, it's not the one in my gallery, it's in storage waiting for the rest of the truck to get painted!
