75 supercab
Hey guys, I'm usually in the 61-66 forums, but my brother has a question and isn't too good with these things. He has a 75 150, supercab longbed with a 390/c6 combo. Well, the engine is worn hard core, he needs to floor it to keep it at idle, and yes we've tried carb and intake manifold. and the tranny needs a rebuild bad. He would like to drop in a cummins turbo and an allison tranny, but is not sure on how much work that'll be (Obviously not just a simple bolt in) if anyone has experience and can just give an idea on how much that would be or if he should just rebuild the engine and tranny?

seems like lots of questions around right now about the cummins swap.
Difficulty depends totally on his skill level. Do a little searching around here for cummins and I think you'll find lots of info.
