Hi-Flow Cats

This may seem like a stupid question but how mant cats does my 08' F150 have, and what are the adavantages of getting hi flow cats?

I don't recall how many cats an 08 has. But I can say with certainty that if you do install high flow cats you will need to reflash the pcm with a tuner so that you won't get a mil. You'll also need to upgrade the intake tract to take advantage of the cats. And if it were me, I'd go ahead had install headers while I was at it so that I could have the tunes done once and for all and be done with it. With all of the work and expense you'll pick up 30-50 horsepower tops, probably more like 15-30 tops. For the kind of $ it would take I'd just spend a little bit more and supercharge the truck and program it and leave the stock cats on.

'08 should only have two. 04 and some of 05 have four. if you do highflows, you do not need to reflash anything to make them work, and just make sure the o2 sensors are mounted in or after the new cat.
