not a truck but....

Well, I do not have a truck (I do have a Ford van though) but I wanted to tell about my 2000 Ford Taurus wagon. It just turned 263,000 miles on original engine. I did have to replace the transmission a few thousand miles ago but that is no suprise to anyone who knows the Taurus transmission.
Car still runs great. I drive it every day.

I signed for a delivery a couple months ago. The truck's mileage was on the trip ticket. Older Kenworth. North of 6 million miles on the clock.

highest

The highest mileage i have ever seen that i knew for sure was 303000. My old 87 Ranger 2 wheel drive 2.3l . I bought it brand new in 1987 and it had the 303000 in 2002 when i sold it. At that time it never had a major repair. The engine, tranny, rearend were all original. It had normall stuff changed, water pump, brakes, and one starter but never even a clutch. And i still see the truck driving around town!

I will never have another truck as good as that, including my current Ford.

Sometimes a vehicle just decides to be nice to you !!

Thats like my old 7.3.

I doubt any newer trucks will last like the older ones, but who knows.
