About 72,000 on a 2000. I'll keep it to about 85,000 (another couple of years on my driving patterns).

95,000 on my 01. Should be good to travel until 225 or so. I am afraid that is going to come sooner than I thought. I love to drive it!

There's a guy who visits the V10 forum with well over 270K on his.
I've talked to a number of guys with over 200K. Nothing ever done to the engine but oil changes. One guy blew a plug on his 99, though.
I'd imagine those guys with
real high mileage are in their truck right now.

rcullum, any comment on performance at that mileage? Problems your truck has had? Words of wisdom to achieve high mileage?

I can't complain about the performance. I average around 13 mpg on my 6.8. I just change my oil every 5,000 miles, spark plugs at 95,000 and the usual changing of the fluids. The only problems I had were a bad power steering pump, bad lock acuators, warping rotors and a bad rear pinion seal that the dealership took several times to fix it right. The only thing I did from the beginning was use synthetic oil. I don't know if that made a difference or not. I have been pretty happy with my 2000 4WD Excursion. I have had really good luck with my tires. I'm only on my third set. I guess regular maintenance is the key! Just my two cents.....
