Anybody got a fishin' report on the big river?
I expect mudcats are still runnin' about two yards or more, but what are the current poluted waters restrictions?
Last time I was back, you couldn't keep anything caught inside the Shelby county line...

We do not go fishing here, no time, no cool area, weird fish.. But today, I met a crawfish.. they are a lot smaller than I imagined..

For the best fish bait you have ever used, find a creek on a saturday where young kids are playing in the shallows.
Offer them 25 cents a dozen for all the crawfish they can catch, and put them in a bucket or large cooler with an air pump running to keep them alive.
Break one claw, and then pull off the opposite one. Then pull off the broken on. This way, they are safe to handle.
For fresh bait, cut the tail off at the body, peal it, then put the meat on your hook and use it in the usual way.
This bait attracts more fish than any other you have seen in your life, and it stays on the hook like nothing you've ever seen either...
