Your bolts should be good for at least 12 pounds with no issues the 6.9 have smaller head bolts and stretch easier.
The reason I say 12 is you can go 15 but after awhile as with anything you push to the max all the time it will eventually break. yes you should be able to do 18 but don't cry when you are changing gaskets. So I don't even mention over 12 when I think you can push 15 for awhile 12 last forever.

LOL I here you I want to put one of these in my 79 bronco and leave the 1/2 ton running gear. I'm not trying to see how fast it will be but what kind of mileage it will make.
