Tried to pull my empty 24' flat bed out into a field and realized that just because one pasture was dry, does not mean all the fields were dry. (Note to self, check for mud before pulling out into field).

To make matters worse, the tractor I was going to pick up had a dead battery and was a good 3000 ft from where the truck was stuck, so jump starting was out of the question. Dropped the trailer and was able to move a little, but not much. Had to call the wife to come bail me out. It's amazing how easy her 4wd drug me around without even spinning a tire while my little 2wd could do nothing but spin the back two tires and dig some nice holes in the field.

Don't feel bad Chris, I've been there too ! It'll be a distant memory when somebody else gets stuck & stranded. Until then you'll have to keep hearing it over and over again......

It just dawned on me that Chris & I are in the same boat. We both drive 2WDs, and both our wives drive 4WDs! The difference is my wife's isn't a PSD.
