460 ambulance or van
Ok guys i hope yall can help!!I live in winchester(southern middle tennessee)and im putting a 460 in a 79 F-350 4x4 and im having lots of trouble with the brackets.I was told to use a set off a van or ambulance but all the junkyards around here have none.Do yall know of any yards in tennessee that might have these?

I wonder why a van or an ambulance?
Most of the mounts have use info stamped into the underside, and a 460 should be a set of mounts that bolt directly centered above the crossmember on each side. It sounds like time to search yellow pages for a yard with F-250's and F-350's that have 460 engines or used to.
I have had success with online yellow pages for other cities too.

Now I see where you're going....
Yeah - I'm in a similar spot with a 302 right now...
But that should be engine, not frame specific.
Measure the distance from the block that your lower pulley comes out, and compare on any beast made by ford that has a 460 installed in it.
-That includes cars too, because if the pulley matches up everything else on the block (including bolt holes) will also.
The engine is generic, you just need to find a donor with the same options.
