If my transmission has a shift modification that makes it shift very hard under full throttle, what parts are likely to break in my drivetrain? I'm thinking u-joints... or will it be fine?
at full throttle it'll jolt the whole truck from 2nd to 3rd.... the shifts from 1st to 2nd and 3rd to 4th are perfect now, but I think the 2nd to 3rd got egged out a little when I drilled it. It's pretty rough.
It was a little tedious because you have to drill at an angle but it was pretty easy. I'm happy with it but I should have just done a 1/16 hole
I did 5/64 on it and the 1 to 2 and 3 to 4 shift points are awesome! but the 2 to 3 must have gotten egged out or something because under heavy throttle it will shake the whole truck.
Just want to know what I should watch out for before I can fix it. I'm trying to drive it nice for now.
