Whilst perusing the Diesel Forum, I often come across a post entitled "Gas to Diesel" or "fit a Powerstroke in my 351 pickup" etc.. How come we never see posts proclaiming "Diesel to Gas" etc?

Because in the long run Diesel is more economical and reliable, as far as I have ever seen or heard.
The only times I ever hear of such a conversion are when someone objects to the sound of valve rattle - which is a sign that a diesel engine is healthy.
I love the clatter of my truck, it is loud, and healthy sounding. The scream of the turbo is something I could listen to all day. I need to get a bigger one yet, that will scream louder... {evil grin}

Theo: Do you watch tractor pulls? Nothing stirs the blood like watching a tractor get up on the turbo and scream. The black smoke really adds to it since it shows what the motor is doing.
The guys that use the semi's to pull using 6 turbos are really interesting to watch. I think just one of them could cause San Fransico to start a smog alert
What I wouldn't give for twin turbos on my 5.4. That would at least insure my regular attendance at Sunday church service.
I love watching Tractor pulls.. the noise, the smoke, the happy faces.. WOW.. I also like twin turbos - I am toying with the idea of reversing the exhaust manifolds making the outlet face forward, then putting two turbos, one each side, in place of the batteries, and run the exhaust back, from the turbos, and up in twin stacks behind the cab. That would be kind of nice.. Get a much bigger airbox system, and we would maybe either blow up the truck, or get more power..
As if 340hp was not enough.
