code help
I put a super chip 1705 on my truck to see if it had some codes, there came back 2 01-P0470 and 02-P0603 what dose these mean? i drove it for one day and the codes are back, no lights on the dash on bad running, don't know what to think. also is it OK to run the SC on the PERE-TOW with on gages at this time, pulling nothing.

This one is normal on a chipped truck, nothing to worry about.

Yeah, its nothing to worry about. It's the Keep Alive Memory, you can disconnect the batts and that code will come up also.

If the P0603 showed up before the truck was chipped, I'd recommend cleaning the battery cable connections. Remember each cable has 2 ends. Clean both sides. Poor battery connections can also set this code. With winter coming on, checking battery connections is something all of us need to do, even if we don't have any codes set.
