Hey guys so im station in Okinawa right now but im coming back to the states for my next duty at the end of the month. Im driving a '92 F-150 Flareside but its been awhile since I've actually got to work on it I remember the last time i was on leave i noticed the tailpipe had some bad rust damage and i was wondering if you could give me any good replacements. Im want to replace the entire muffler for sound and hopefully some better gas milage. Also its got leaf springs on it how hard would it be to put a lift on it im thinking about 6", or what's an estimate to get one professionally installed. Thanks for the help.
If you want a better muffler go with Magnaflow or Dynomax. I woudn't recommend Flowmaster since it drones.
I got this info from another FTE member.
You don't have to use everything listed here in this quote. You could just use the muffler and tailpipe or another muffler of your choice.

I installed everything in my home garage with no air tools. Purchased a few rubber donut style exhaust hangers from Auto Zone, everything worked out pretty well. If I were to do it again I would use a little shorter muffler...but then I would need a little extra length of 3" pipe....
