master cylinder ???
I have a 02 screw has master cylinder thats is goin bad when i went to get on at auto parts store one place said it was unavailable then went to another they had one listed but when i got it home the line hook ups was wrong. the first place and the ford dealer ask of the build date witch is 5/02 two wheel drive w/rear disc brakes ford dealer ship wants like 230.00 for a new one whats up witht his anyone have any input on this?

From looking around a few parts websites and rockauto.com it looks as if there was some sort of production change. rockauto is showing master cylinders up to 12-13-01 and then other master cylinders to be used from 12-13-01 on. One of the ford part guys might chime in and correct me if I'm wrong in that assumption. Hopefully that clears up the problems your having.

So sounds like one from like a 03 with all the same options would work i'll give that a try just don't understand why the warehouses don't have a listing for it and tellin me its dealer only item?? Thanks for the input. This is the greatest site I have found on ford trucks.
