Hopefully, not for a long time. The truck only has 192,000 in it, and the TPS/IVS shows no signs of problems.

I remember reading a thread on this a few years ago, if I remember correctly on the 2001 and later models the entire pedal assembly had to be replaced, but on the 2000 and Ex (I think) it was just the TPS that needed r&r. Does this sound right to yall?

Fuel Filter
Replaced my Position Sensor with the Dorman unit. Did not correct the problem. Replaced the Fuel Filter last week. So far...problem solved. Doesn't make much sense with an injected high pressure system. But if you havent replaced the fuel filter lately it could be time anyway. And it might solve your problem. Worth a try.
