Yep thats the one. LOL See one of them here always has to have something above you. he wont tell us everything that needs to be done for the night till we are done with what he told us needed to be done. I know it is called work but when it deals with the aircraft that we work on it is best to get everything that needed to be done right away and not when we are done doing what was already told to do. We have to write everything that we take off of the aircraft and put back on and that goes into the logbook for the aircraft so they can keep track of all the maintainance done to it. Am I making sense?? I hope so. LOL
exactly. i have to keep log books on the SRA's that we take out of the WRA's and the squadrons have to keep log books on the WRA's they take out of the jets. i know exactly what your talking about brother!
haha WRA's are the electronic parts that come out of the jets(Weapons Replaceable Assembly) and SRA's are what come out of the WRA's(Shop Replaceable Assembly) SRA's are just circuit cards and power supplies.
Oh gotcha now. Yeah I dont have to worry bout that kind of stuff. My job title is Sheet Metal Mechanic but I do Mechanic work too. Been learning alot from the mechs here. Also the aircraft that we work on dont have those things called weapons mounted on them. LOL Only the weapons that the Army sticks out of the 2 windows are on the aircraft. But they take them off after they are done flying for the day. Sucks. I wanted to play with those weapons. LOL
yeah i've always wanted to mount up one of those .50 cals. that would be a blast. i got to watch them shoot off the enterprise one time and it was awesome. those things are loud as hell. they had tracers in them too so you could see them skipping off the water. awesome
well bud i've gotta get going to bed. kinda late over here on the other side of the planet....haha good night man. talk to ya later
Why thank you! We had an excellent race, 1st in our class, and second in the class above, (with our mechanic driving) those guys should be embarassed. Why is is we always get the car dialed in at the end of the year though?
