It has calmed down now but we were having 80mph gusts earlier. I went to Reno and back this morning and several places we were getting sand blasted. The snow had not arrived but the wind had. I'm sure that is, or was, the situation in Fallon.
The snow didn't make it to Fallon, it died out about Dayton. It was windier than heck though, I've got limbs down everywhere. It was clear when I got to Bruce's, but this is what it looked like 1/2 hour later when I left:
The snow kind of made it to Wendover. It lasted for about five minutes and then five minutes later it was gone. Hopefully there will be some left in Montello tomorrow. Of course, if the alternator does not come in tomorrow I will not be going anywhere.
Michelle's picture (post 173,) is in my neighborhood, and it's the straightest bit of road we have. Probably the only place she could stop steering long enough to take the picture.
