It just sucks being in the great sandbox. There have been many times I wish I could go do something fun.

it has its advantages. But its not all that good either. Yeah this is my third time here in Iraq. The first two were with the Army. This one was my choice due to the economy and not being abloe to get a good job with my qualifications.

is your job permanently based there? seems like they'd let you come home for longer than two weeks at a time. that's a very high stress environment. you can only take so much before you end up doing something drastic......LOL

We are allowed to come home every 4 months for 16 days now. But where I am now there are only like 25ish civiliains on this site and we are only allowed to have 2-3 people at one time home on leave. So it is kinda hard to get away from here. I do hear you on the high stress environment. We work 12hrs a day 7 days a week. Also have the idiots here also that we have to work with. There have been plenty of times where I could have gone home for good for doing something bad to one of those idiots but I kept it cool. LOL

Sad thing is the Army guys are cool. They are great actually. It is my bosses that are the problems. I really hate people with a power trip.
