ive seen other trucks with stacks and stock turbos, when there really getting on it and let off the turbo coo's like a blow off, it sounds sick. tjs almost does it in this video YouTube - Fun on the Dunes i was hoping my truck would do it with the stacks, but it doesnt, it lightly woo's with high boost let off. how do i get it to do it, is it more of an injector issue with more fuel and higher boost?
i'm really not sure how to get it to sound like tims truck when it lets off. i know you will get a much better turbo let off sound with more fuel. mine didn't get loud til i put injectors in it and got even louder when i put the bigger injectors in it.. so answer= more fuel
the key is high boost then completly let off the throttle and have the rpm drop to idle as fast as possible. doesnt matter if you have stacks or not, mine does it both ways.
oh then what the hell! thats all i want my truck to do! lol i can hold it to the boards and gain some real high rpms and let off suddenly and it still wont do it, doesnt matter what tune im in, wont do it in any of them but joe, thats the exact noise im going for. Cowmilker, why didyou remove your chip??
oh alright nvm, eff that lol get a custom one like alot of us! and nope, straight exhaust, 4in under cab with downpipe, 5inch bed pipes to the 6ers, i get a woo as well, actually..dont know how to type it but ill give it a shot lol its more of like a zzwoooooh! haha
with my stacks i had a 3 inch downpipe to 4inch under cab to 5 inch in bed to 6 inch turnout stacks.
currently i have the same dp with 4 inch under cab to 5inch taipipe as i havnt finished cutting and making the rest of the 5inch to mate up to the dp yet. but i still get the same turbo depressure and its just as loud as it was with the stacks. no crayz tunes, just the redneck homemade ones.
