need some more help PLEASE.

I have the eagle alloy 058 polished aluminum wheels. Well somehow they have fine scratches in them. I guess from washing them. How do i get them out? I have tried mothers mag/aluminum polish, I have tried duragloss polish(the can with the wool). I went to advance and they let me try turtle wax, which didnt do it. I can get pics when it stops raining. I didnt know where to put this thread so if the mods need to move it, please do

if they are polished what you need to do is get your self a rouge wheel and rouge compound to polish them

you can use a drill or high speed buffer depending on size of the wheel you buy

but with some time you could make them look like chrome, also this is the same way they are polished at the factory

and if your wheels have deep marks in them use 600 1000 1200 grit sand paper and polish them out

Wenol makes some great wheel polish. I'm not positive that it will get rid of those scratches but it's great stuff and has all kinds of uses. Check out this link Wenol Metal Polish. Good luck with your project. I would be extremely careful with any type of sand paper. I also think on those Mother's Power Ball would be a help also.

I tried mothers aluminum polish last night and that didnt work. They told me to go to a pro and see what they recommend. Thats a good deal on that rouge stuff.

i useto work for a truckin company in the body shop and to polish grill, wheels and fuel tanks on peterbilt's all day long with a 6inch rouge wheel and high speed buffer and light scratches can be polished off very easy

they also make rouge for stainless and thats what i use on my truck exhaust tips

but get that kit and a drill and youll have like new wheels in just a few hours, also heat is what does the work so take your time and work in in slow

also heres a howto
