We need some Heavy Duty Truck Pics!

Hello - new here. Came looking for more info on the Louisvilles, as we have added a couple to our fleet in the past year.
As you can assume from my User ID, we have primarily used GM products for our fleet, and continue to do so. But due to GM's withdrawl from the Medium and Heady Duty truck market, we were forced to look at other brands. All the newer trucks have more than one thing going against them - the emissions controls and their high purchase and maintenance costs.
So when I had the opportunity to buy a '94 L8000 last spring, I took the chance on it, and have been quite happy with it. This year we added an older brother - an '89 L8000. The '94 is powered by an 8.3 Cummins w/ 6 speed. The '89 has the 7.8 Ford 474, and an 8LL. Both are in pretty good shape, and we take them off of the road for the winters, as the salt eats these steel cab trucks up in a hurry. Hope to keep them running around here for a number of years - with the valueable info shared here, it shouldn't be a problem!

This is my first ford, I have always been a gm guy,,, til I was forced to give them my grandchilds life due to the bailout. Im done with that now.
This is an 1996 f800 with the 8.3 cummins.
When finished it will serve as replacement of an 2005 duramax.
The bed nearing completion.
It is destined to pull a trailer for the rest of its life. Thats a 920 cat 24000 lbs best I could figure.

These are a few shots I've taken over the years while working at Bigfoot. We've all but phased out most of the old Louisville's for newer Internationals and Volvos, but even though I hated driving them, the old Fords are still kinda cool. I'll post some shots from the company archive someday, including the old Ford motor home days.
