New bed or new bed sides?

NPD has them for like $280 each. Plus $140 in shipping but that $140 will cover up to 10 items so if you need doors or fenders or anything else get it at the same time. I had bought one new bed side at a swap meet like 10 years ago for $40! This was before I even had a truck. I just bought the other from NPD. It came by truck right to my house. It looked fairly decent too.

Just looked them up in my Npd catolog. The outside quarter panels(reproduction) are 259.95 each side or you can pay 499.95 for the inner bed side and outer skin assembly LH. The RH side is 437.50 for the same assembly w/o the storage tool box in the side. I think the price LMC quoted you was for the inner and outer assembly...399.95 each. According to there catolog. The price on just the outer quarter panel is 249.95 each side. Couldn't find anything in Dennis Carpenter or Bronco Graveyard.

I've never welded but I was told these just spot weld in. These were done once before back in the early 90's and due again. Are the KDP's good quality? How hard is this to do? Let's say I only need the outers, this tough. I've been the mechanic of the family for years. I'll tackle anything.
