International also advertises "up to five independant injection per cycle".
Our MaxxForce 7 could only be called noisey when its cold, when its warmed up its far quieter than any of our other units which includes 7 T444Es, 1 VT365, 1 6.0 and a half dozen six bangers.

I personally only think its quieter when at idle. Doesnt have the loud injector solenoid noise like the 6l,444e. The very first t444e and 7.3s where not that loud due to the different design pump/ipr and SS injs. Now if you all want to be amazed check out the new maxx 11 and 13. For being a big bore engine when the fans not on you can hardly tell its even running.Impressive!

"The very first t444e and 7.3s" didn't have split shot injectors, they didn't come till the late 90s.

1997 was when the T444Es got them............
