whats up ya'll, i just went an bought a stancor gpr for the upcoming winter. i never even tested my present one but figured with it being 10 years old and having 116,000 miles-why not, better to be safe than sorry come -temp days. anyway i was looking at guzzles how to instructions and pics, then went out to look at my truck and realized i only have one brown relay, unlike the two in his pics. the wire colors are the same for my relay as are in guzzle's pics for his blk relay.
question is, is this my gpr (my brown one) and can i still change it with the stancor???? thanks
The other relay is for the AIH. It may have been removed already. Look at your spyder and see if the heater and or the wires have been removed.
Where in MA are you Brian? I'm in Bridgewater.
just got back inside, outside putting in 5w-40 syn. anyway i'm in lynn, you know, the city of sin
so the brown relay i have in there right now "IS" my gpr and can be replaced with the stancor???

That is your GPR and the Stancor will work just fine. Like the others stated the E99's didn't have the AIH.
You are only about an hour away from me. I am going to be getting together with Platinum Pete he lives in Tiverton RI next Saturday, if you want to join our little mod party let me know.
