Well...I finally found a decent deal on a Cummins...Bought a Complete 94 P-pumped 3500 Dually regular cab for 2000 bucks...High miles but runs good!!!
Trans will need rebuilt...but it's the 47RH....any of you know if my 205 Ford T-Case will bolt to the back of the 47RH???
I am going through the same process with my 77 F150 thats getting a Cummins. The cheapest and quickest route I have found is use the 23 spline input shaft out of a Dodge 205. The 205 has to be from behind a Cummins that had an automatic transmission behind it. You need a divorced Ford 205, because it has the small bearing input. Swap the inputs, and then, using the Dodge iron adapter from the same transfer case, drill a few holes in the transfer case for the adapter to bolt to. The drilled holes also allow you to clock your t-case to the desired position. Hope this helps.
