Just collected from a F truck collector a few engines, a couple of 351's, a 302 and what we think may be a 352, can you guys please help us know what we have its not what we are used too
Many FE motors have "352" cast in the block like that. Could be anything but a 427. Bore and stroke is the only way to tell for that engine. Since it's be sitting open, it may be tough to turn over. See the top of the forum, "FAQ" for a list of bore/stroke combinations. Also, casting and date codes from the block can narrow it down, and the number of bolts for the engine mounts.

Actually, a sideoiler 427 block is likely to have the "352" markings as well, as it's just the front bulkhead mold- a lot of Plain Jane engines also came through with the "66-427" markings under the bellhousing, just the rear bulkhead mold

Thanks for that correction. I must admit my thinking in throwing in that comment is that no one would leave a real 427 in that condition, and I also think those are hydraulic lifters in the first photo. But your point is really the correct point to be made.
Don't know if anybody noticed...but this says its a "332" not a "352"...probably very indicative of what it really is, probably why it was left uncovered, and uncared for!!

I beg to differ.
Horizontal oil filter, dip tube toward the front, air injection bosses cast on the exhaust runners, what I can see of the intake gasket print; I'm guessing a '68 to '72 2wd truck engine. It will take a lot of PB-Blaster to find out if there is anything salvable on this lump.

Where are you getting "332"? The pic--look at it closely and look around the dirt that makes the "5" look like a "3"--says "352".
You will not find any note or comment or fact or FAQ ever telling you that "332" is cast into the front of these. Only 352, and the other "105" variation.
