I'm going to quiz you on your system since I have some questions I haven't found answers for.

First, what gauge power cable did you run and how did you run it from the battery to the amp? I'm leaning toward running the power cable entirely through the "valley" under the floor trim (under the doors) to the back but I don't know if 1) it's possible and 2) how deep is the "valley"; in other words, what's the biggest gauge I can run?

Second, do you have the "Premium" sound option? If so, and one of your amplifiers is powering the door speakers, did you wire around the factory amp? I'm curious if you used the bypass cable and what the difficulty level was for that portion of the install.

croom9, You have no idea what you are talking about. Actually alloro was the one using "simple physics" not you. There is no intake restriction on these trucks. You claim adding an intake and a flowmaster will really "belt out the ponies". How many extra ponies did your Expy "belt out" after these mods? Dyno charts would be helpful. Short of that, you are just releasing hot air yourself.

I just can't help but call BS when people come on here with no facts and encourage others to spend money on "upgrades" that are truely worthless. Though I am still laughing about the blue mold picture...thats worth a million

No, you are correct, the forum is not for arguing. I think a better purpose is to share factual information. The intention being to help others make more informed decisions.

You are simply wrong about your intake and exhaust comments. I think you are wise not to enter into a discussion about it with me as you will come out looking a wee bit foolish on the other end kiddo.

Dodge Omni, ooooohhh what a slam. Kid, I have owned cars you could never even dream of. Good luck with the attitude

And yet, the concept still eluded his grasp.

Sure, I'll play I know I made a list one other time, not sure what thread that was in but I will give you a few of the highlights.

I bought these new;
2001 Mercedes Benz S600
2002 Mercedes Benz G500
2004 Porsche Cayenne S
2x 2003 Dodge 3500
2005 Dodge 3500
2006 Dodge 3500 megacab

I bought these used;
1984 Mercedes 280GE, lifted on 35's
1986 Porsche 944 Turbo track car
1989 Porsche 928 GT 1 of 50, only one its color combo
1990 Mercedes 300GE, one of three 5 spds in the US
1995 G320 on 33's custom winch bumper
1971 Buick GS 455 built to a dyno tested 525hp
1971 Chev Nova 500hp 383
1995 BMW 740iL
1998 BMW 750iL

There are probably another dozen if I really thought about it, but that is at least $750k worth.

750k?lol all those cars new dont add up to that!
Both of you guys sound like bikkering kids, the thread was about mods to the expo, not mods to your ego!

By the way i have both of you beat, and i earned every penny of it!
To the first guy a tt 300zx is a $2k car, nothing to brag about bud
To the second guy, alot of nice cars, but how many do you own now,i think thats all that counts really
If i counted all the cars ive OWNED it would be well over 500,but i own my own shop so i dont consider cars OWNED if i have to resell them, although i get to beat them till im tired of playing with them,im doing c5 vettes now.

Mods to expos, exhaust, remove air silencer, maintain it,dont make it look like the mold picuke:,enjoy your rig.
The lights are fine the way they are,its yours is a base maybe put some eddie stuff on it,other than that it depends on what your needs are,i use mine for towing cars in and if i need to haul 8 bpeople that also,i keep the 3rd seat out till i need it,makes it a good 100 lbs lighter too.

Keep a eye on the rear control arms, mine are rusty and need replaced-careful on the spark plugs too.
I put nice speakers in the doors on my non mach radio,it sounds somewhat better but the stock speakers arnt all that bad,if i hadent got a deal on them i would have kept the stockers.I like the rear controls to work.

I would like to get a mach sub box and put in the oem sub so its clean and out of the way.

id say 50lbs if that.... and the mold problem is gone now, I got the truck that way and thought i liked it, but it got old so now its gone. And since when did this become the "Wise *** remark forum"? To each their own we are here to discuss the trucks not take shots at eachothers.
and to the guy that doesnt know anything about nissans just a little tidbit of information the 300zx's that have a vg30dett engine they are not $2k dollar cars thats the N/A model in poor condition.

Now can we cut the crap?
