Flowmaster exhaust is a must have, combined with an intake this thing can really belt out the ponies and the decibles... i posted mine up on youtube have a listen.... ******** width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/KHtpDqa8nu8&hl=en_US&fs=1&autoplay=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/KHtpDqa8nu8&hl=en_US&fs=1&autoplay=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed>*********>
Depending on your budget, the sky is the limit for mods. Plan out what you are going to do first so you do not change your mind (like I did) and end up replacing things again. Lights are a good place to start.
croom9, thanks for posting the video.
I want to make my Navi's exhaust note a little throatier but I don't want any interior drone.
How is it inside the vehicle?

That looks like a pretty good exhaust oil burn you've got going on there.
Saw some blue smoke, but if it was cold with high miles, like mine, normal...but what about interior noise with the Flowmasters? My girls like to sit in the 3rd row...

I will say that that video was taken before i changed my intake manifold (infamous crossover crack), and now i don't notice the steam that much at all anymore.... i am willing to bet that many'a tritons went down for "blown head gaskets, and people spent alot of money replacing these motors when it was really just that manifold leaking, and sending water into the cylinders...Just a thought?
secondly as for your young children...... i find that from the drivers seat the flowmaster creates a mellow and tolerable rumble, lol i still gas it going through tunnels like a little kid. but i would imagine if your kids are in the 3rd row they would probably annoy you because they would have to talk louder to hear eachother (I highly doubt it would cause any hearing problems its not that loud) Hey you could even go with a 60 or 70 series from flowmaster and get the same thoaghty sound without the racket

So could you just run dual exhuast, not change the intake and get more power and of course that nice throaty sound. If so, what flowmaster is recommended. Better to run a side pipe out each end behind rear tires as well?

remember you can only push "out" as much air as you can suck "in" basically what im saying is an exhaust upgrade without an intake upgrade does nothing but make it sound different. if you want to add a little power, you need an intake as well... also in my opinion however many pipes you run AFTER the flowmaster is just for looks if your going to run "TRUE" dual exhaust it must come from each header, just the same as your intake situation, the flowmaster can only push out as much exhaust as is going into it....unless you run larger pipe to it and 2 smaller diameter pipes out of it but that would be pointless, understand what i mean?
and i suggest a 40series flowmaster, a little on the loud side but I say if your gonna do it do it all the way

I'm afraid that is incorrect. You intake cold air and exhaust heated air. The volume of the exhaust is more than what you took into the intake due to heat expansion during the combustion process.
If I may borrow your credit card, I'll make a whole bunch of changes to my Expy and show you the results!
A sound system overhaul is my next step. I plan on doing it right with amplifiers powering the door speakers and sub(s)...somewhere in the vehicle. I say "somewhere" because I still want to retain the room I have in the back without the rear seat and I still want to be able to fold down the middle bench which I do occasionally which kills the idea of mounting the amps under that area due to little available room. I'll figure it out, I just need college to end so I can spend time on my vehicle in the evenings instead of books.
