Just bought a 2001 E350 utilimaster lunch wagon and it is our next "hot rod" project vehicle. Does anyone know how to lower the Twin IBeam frontend? We will also be lowering the dually rearend as well. thanks
Short of sticking a solid front axle in there, I'm not sure how you'd go about lowering one of those. Any change to the ride height would cause some serious camber problems.
Thanks Crazy001. I did find at least one company that builds a suspension kit for IBeam Ford Trucks...DJM Suspension. Would like to see if anyone has experience doing this.
The first ford i bought off a sales lot was a 1993 ford ranger...it had lowered I-beams in it...they were made by beltech suspension. and it had a shackle reverse kit in the rear...i would give them a try? idk if they make anything for your app. but its worth a try...also i would pickup like a Truckin mag and go window shopping with some of the add's in the mag. worth a try i guess? good luck to ya and let us know how it goes. any thoughts about a wet bar install yet in this van?!
thanks will do all you suggest....and it will have a wet bar of some sort..along with a widescreen. First have to get the suspension, paint and interior going
i have a set of DJM drop beams for 99-04 superduties. the are 3" drop beams. if you can find out if they fit i can give you a good deal on them. pm if interested
COR 250, thanks. I will check with the company that is going to drop the van for me. They are going to notch the rear frame and air bag it as well. My only problem is that I live in Hawaii and have to send the Van to California to get the work done
