lexington, bbq capital. yea, i know, i just posted in the bbq question area. i have an 89 f350 with the 7.3, added turbo, and the infamous e4od. right now the tranny is sick. the forth one in its short 80somek life. this one is a remanned unit and died with about 5k miles on it. of course, no warranty. think i will try to fix this one myself. any suggestions for someone local that can give any advice or inspiration? have talked to most shops around and no one would touch it. boy, don't get me started. i love my ford truck but this tranny and all the other posting i have seen on it really shakes my faith!!!!!
i will appreciate any help.
