After expensive repairs to tranny and replacing rear axle, my brake pedal is clicking/popping intermittantly when I step on the brake. Does not seem to be related to speed as it will do it at complete stop at times...

the noise is can be heard and felt in the brake pedal. Is this something the axle job could have caused as the emergency/parking brake cable did have to be redone??
