I just added power brakes to my 77 F100. The pedal height seems very low now. Does anyone have a spec on this. The brakes work fine but only have about two inches of travel now.
I think I've heard that there are two different lengths of rod between the pedal and the master cylinder. You might look into this, it sounds like yours is too short.

ms, If I read it right you are concerned that your pedal is lower than before. This is true, the addition of power assisted brakes, should allow you to rotate your heel from the gas pedal to the brake. With non assisted you should have to raise your foot from the gas pedal to the brake. The power booster is raising it's foot for you.
hope this helps some.

In the still cool hours of the night, you can hear chevys rusting away.
That was one of the first things I noticed when I put power brakes on my truck also. The pedal height was a lot lower than what I was used to, but it seemed comparable to factory setups so I've never worried about it.
