Brake pedal safety switch
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 22-Oct-02 AT 03:38 AM (EST)]Ya have to go back to the basics on that one. Just start testing the parts. First, bypass the switch at the pedal by crossing the wires, but you'll have to test the wires to see whether it's a ground switch or not, because I'm not sure on that. If this allows you to put it in gear, you know it's the pedal switch, if this doesn't allow you to put it in gear. I'ts probably the electronic mechanism that locks the shifter, or else a break in the wire, or a bad connection. Or, hell, maybe even a fuse. Some times the most obviouse thing that we over look, is the problem.
