Transmission ??

I have a c6 set up for a 4x4, should i keep it, or look into something else?

I guess it depends on if you have a truck that needs one, or if you like autos better than standards, or if you would rather have a 4 speed auto or overdrive or a lot of other things. What's the story?

is there a non electric overdrive tranny that can mate up to a 390? i would like to keep the auto, like manuals but i dont need one. I would like to run a overdrive but dont really want to get an electric one unless i have to.

Can't help you with the o.d. tranny. ( I'm a 4 speed man myself) but I know the C6 is said to be a very good tranny.

yeah thats what i hear, i think i am going to look into an overdrive set for the transfer case. i know that chevy has them but i dont know about ford.
