ok.i got some measurements.
on the out side of the box the side is 27 3/4 to the bend.
the rail is 4 3/8 form the outside edge of the roll to the bend.
the pocket openings are 1 3/4 by 2 1/2.
the rolled edge is 1'' dia.
sorry ,it p*ssing rain out,i didnt get the inside of the box measurement from the floor to the bend,if you need that i will get it as well.
my box is a dump box with a steel floor the PO welded in,but the factory wood is still under that,so my measurements for this will be close for your needs but maybe not dead on.
if you need detailed drawing of the stake pockets for a factory looking rib i can draw up one for you.

Thanks! That helps considerably, I was a little off in a few places, ha. I could use the one on the inside of the box, but again no worries or rush on that, I'm just trying to get things together for planning.

Thanks for your suggestion STephen. I may do something like Admiral. At first I'm just cruising Craigs list daily OEM sheetmetal. I may get lucky! Maybe somebody is doing a "rat rod" or something and doesn't want the bed. It happens.

Be sure to put a want ad in as well, A lot of people don't post it for sale but check the ads for parts they're looking for (I know you're suppose to put it in teh wanted section... I just put it in the auto parts and start off with "Wanted: ..." . You'll find people who are willing to do trade more this way, I've never known anyone to actually look through the want ads unless they where really really bored, but a lot more people look when trying to buy something)
