Master Rebuild Kits
I'm looking for a master rebuild kit for my 400. I know PAW sells these but do any of you know of any other companies? I have a bare block so I need a kit that includes crank and rods and I'd like to find one that is offered with options like balancing, aftermarket cam, double roller timing chain, etc.,....

I emailed speedomotive, told them I was building a 351m to a 400. Response came back for a 351c kit. Discussed in more detail, they replied they couldn't help me.
Almost quit there, but for some reason I called and asked them what's up since they post a 400 kit on the web. Guy said he'd get back with me, sometimes availability changes. He called back, discussed what I was planning to do then quoted kit prices for me (I'm looking at Deluxe Master Rebuild)... prices slightly higher but still good..
I've asked for specifics on the set so as to judge what I'm getting better but the email attachments didn't work. Their mailing this information so I should be getting it soon. I'll post when it arrives or if anyone's interested I'll send it along. I told them about the web site.

The people at speedomotive are very helpful. Gave the prices to my machine shop they thought they were really good. When I said "slightly higher" in previous post that was relative to their already low price...
They'll swap out parts too if you want something different too...
