Anyone here any numbers on HP & TQ, been looking all over cant find any on the 6.7 or the 6.2. Ford doesn't want anybody to get overly excited or are they not what they expected??

Hello Chris. Thanks for participating in this chat! Any word on official horsepower and torque figures for both the 6.2-liter V-8 gas and 6.7-liter V-8 diesel engines? :-)
Chris Brewer:
Hi, Mike, as you know we will be annoucing HP, torque and fuel economy closer to when vehicle goes on sale next spring--however, the numbers are all better vs. the 2010 MY Super Duty.
Don't think they want to tip their hand just yet. On pickuptrucks.com Mike just did a big write up on the Dodge Ram HD's for 2010 but nothing yet for 2011. You know Ford is gonna ensure they are better. So I think they will try to wait for all the 2011 info to come in first.
Yeah the new Ram HD looks really nice. But I think we can guarantee that the Ford will have more HP and TQ in both engines than Dodge will. Also, the 6.2 which has more power and torque than the Hemi will have a 6 speed, unlike the Hemi's 5 speed. Then there's the expected better fuel economy to go with it.
I'm more concerned with where these peaks occur. Any idea's on that?
+1
Not concerned about the hp peak I'm hoping it's 1600rpm for the TQ like the competitors. The 2k needed by the 6.4 is the one low point of this fantastic F450 I'm the proud owner of. That said, I see the F550 C/C with PU conversion as my next truck since the move back to 8-lug etc
